Dehydrating alkyd wood oil for treating previously oiled or untreated outdoor furniture, etc. in teak.
The oil is clear, dehydrating and with a low viscosity. Hardwoods are most often very fatty. The outer wood turns grey quickly. The oil provides a good protection against moisture as it penetrates and fills the wood pores to achieve a water-repellent oil surface. One single treatment often gives a fresh surface. The oil contains waxes and is consequently dirt repellent
Instructions for use:
The surface must be firm, dry and well-cleaned, steel-brushed and/or sanded. Loose, porous and disintegrating wood must be removed. Apply with a brush or rag. Be especially careful with the end sections. The oil is applied until the substrate finishes absorbing it. After a few minutes any excess oil is wiped off with a rag or sponge. The treatment is repeated until a fresh, shiny surface is achieved. Stir well before and during use.
