Primer that gives increased adhesion when painting plastic parts, for example spoilers, wings, skirts, etc. Can be used on surfaces of nearly all types of plastics including ABS Polypropylene, PVC, uPVC, Kevlar, Fibreglass and PET. The primer is compatible with all of Biltema's touch-up paints. Colour: Transparent, but with a slight aluminium hue to show where you have sprayed. 400 ml.

Instructions:
  1. Ensure the surface is clean and dry. Mask surrounding surfaces.
  2. If the surface to be sprayed is glossy, sand gently with a fine grade of sandpaper to get a better bonding surface for the primer.
  3. Shake the can well before use (for at least 2 minutes). The can should to have a temperature of approx. +20 °C.
  4. Test the spraying technique and compatibility on a small, concealed area similar to the surface to be sprayed.
  5. Keep the can 20-30 cm from the surface and apply several thin coats at an angle.
  6. On larger surfaces spray several thin coats in a criss-cross pattern (fig. B). Shake the can well between applications. Allow each coat to dry for 5-10 minutes before applying the next coat. At regular intervals turn the can upside down to clean the nozzle.
  7. The primer is dry to the touch after 10 minutes and properly cured after 2 hours.
Touching-up smaller surfaces:
  1. Prepare the surface as described above.
  2. Spray a small amount of primer carefully into the upturned cap.
  3. With the primer wet, dip the brush and apply it to the desired surface.
Important:
After use, invert the can and spray the nozzle clean (fig. C). The nozzle head can also be cleaned by carefully twisting it off the nozzle tube and placing it in cellulose thinner or by carefully removing any blockage with a narrow needle or similar implement. The product must be stored and used in room temperature (+20 °C).
